UKG Ready - Migrating Your Integration

This informational page will help you with the details of transitioning your UKG Ready integration from the legacy GHRR background screening platform to DISAScreen. This process is simple, but will take some coordination between you and the DISA Project Management team. By coming to this page you should have received your advanced notification of your migration timeline. Please find details below concerning your responsibilities, data required to successfully transition your integration and key call outs on the new ordering workflow.

STEPS TO TRANSITION YOUR INTEGRATION

• STEP 1: Configure OAuth
• STEP 2: Set Up a New Company within UKG - please note that you cannot use the current company you have set up and connected to the legacy integration!
• STEP 3: Provide The following 4 Data Points back to your DISA Project Manager through this UKG Ready Integration Data Form.
  • UKG Ready Base URL
  • UKG Ready Client ID
  • UKG Ready Client Secret
  • UKG Company Short Name
• STEP 4: Add Hiring Stages
• STEP 5: Create Custom Fields
• PLEASE NOTE: Failure to follow these 5 Key Steps in the Activation Guide prior to your migration date will impact your ability to place orders. 

Key Details for the DISAScreen UKG Ready Integration 

Find the details below outlining similarities or key call outs for the DISAScreen version of your UKG Ready Integration. 

• (IMPROVED) Ordering Background Checks: users leveraging the new DISAScreen UKG Ready integration have praised the more streamlined ordering workflow with a faster, easier user experience. 
• User Routing: in the legacy platform orders would route to a user by matching the email address; if the email address did not exist it would route to a default user on the account. In DISAScreen orders cannot route to a default user. All users must exist on the account or the integration will fail the order. Please contact Dscreen.Support@DISA.com if you experience issues with your users. 
• Result Viewing from UKG Ready: a link to the completed background screening report will be posted back into UKG Ready. Users will need to click the link and log in with DISAScreen credentials to access the results. 
• Order Certifications: DISAScreen will require a user to certify the order prior to viewing results. This certification outlines that the a consent is on file, you have permissible purpose to review the results, that adverse action outlined in the FCRA will be upheld, etc. The first user to attempt viewing the candidate's report will be presented with the certification language - they will acknowledge and then proceed. Subsequent viewings of the results will not prompt the certification language. 
• (New) Real Time Status Updates: the DISAScreen integration will post real time order status updates within UKG Ready. This will be an improved experience for your users to see updates about your candidate's screen reports.
