How to Register & Designate DISA in the FMCSA Clearinghouse

This article is meant to explain how to register your company as an employer in the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse and designate DISA as your consortium/third-party administrator (“C/TPA”).

1. Employer Registration

The process required for employers to register in the Clearinghouse depends on whether the employer has an existing FMCSA Portal account. 

Employers with FMCSA Portal accounts can visit this FMCSA page to view an interactive guide for registering: https://clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov/Resource/Index/Registration-Instructions-Employer-with-Portal.

Employers that don't have FMCSA Portal accounts can visit this page to view an interactive guide for registering:  https://clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov/Resource/Index/Registration-Instructions-Employer-without-Portal.

2. Designating GHRR as a C/TPA
